Hello Readers!

Happy New Year! I hope each of you had a wonderful Christmas and were able to ring in the New Year surrounded by your loved ones.

While watching the New Year countdown and celebrations on TV, I took the time to reflect on all the things from this past year that have happened to me…for me…with me…and without me. 2015 was probably the most eventful year I’ve had in a couple of decades.

As you know from previous postings, there was a divorce to tend to and two moves to manage. There were more ups and downs than on an EKG readout! Sometimes I didn’t know if I was going to make it through the difficult times with my sanity intact…but I did.

There were many moments of self-doubt and self-ridicule. Moments when things felt so bleak I didn’t see even a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

However, before this post gets too down…I’m happy to say that the New Year has started with me feeling more alive and open than at any other time in my life. The light at the end of the tunnel has turned into a beacon, beckoning me into a future filled with possibilities and hope.

This Road to a Dream isn’t over for me; not by a long shot. There are many more detours and destinations waiting for me ahead.

The most immediate change will be yet another move. Favorite Youngest Son and his family will be moving to Hawaii this coming summer, and I will be unable to move with them. While I don’t yet know where I will end up, I know I will be fine no matter where I choose to live.

My immediate goals are to get the final two short stories written for the Tales from the Nordonians series. I also need to get book four, Taylor’s Story, completed. Others may debate the existence or validity of Writer’s Block; but I have no doubt at all in my mind that it exist.

While I haven’t decided if book four will be the end of the Intergalactic Matchmaking Series, I want to get it out to the fans of the series.

Happy New Year, everyone. May 2016 be full of your own bright beginnings and beacons of hope.
